TRUTH BEFORE RECONCILIATION

Reconciliations without truth is fruitless
Helpless and ageless
Essentially, it is useless
Just like an employee with the habit of lateness
A room without a mattress
A match box which is matchless
Or speaker which is soundless

Reconciliations comes through truth, to bear fruit
Without truth, is like a decayed wood
Rotten or a spoiled food

The truth he suppresses
Clearly to your eyelashes
Yet in the name of  reconciliations, they're maintaining
Freedom, he is enjoying
Whiles the victims await, healing
With feelings of pain and suffering
In anticipation of truth for reconciling
But our hearts and minds are still frustrating.

Collective responsibility
He takes
But the whole nation he fakes
With lies of no mistakes
But deliberate instead
And yet freedom he takes
When Koro's Ceesay's  fate remains unsaid

Our feelings are mixed
With doubts that need to be fixed
For years we take risk
Some are dead and some are missed
Some lost sight of their parents at the age of six
Both elders and kids

Their mistakes make others fatherless
Some motherless, brother-less and even sister-less
This make our pain seemingly endless
With lies which are baseless
On a platform of high caliber and sense
From perpetrators who are faithless

Regret, he pronounced
And collective responsibility he announced
But the individual ones-he denounced
With lies of  a clown
Known by all
But yet, we remain calm

Let justice prevail
On individuals who hides truth
When everyone knows what's in the booth
We need truth to be together, move together and work together

Who killed Ousman Koro Ceesay?- still an-un answered question!
