We must stop pretending that everything is fine when the ugly realities about this country speak different. The future of this country is at stake and the earlier our egoistic authorities listen to our plights and cries, the better for this country. It is quiet evident that Gambians have had sad memories in the past regimes but the fear of insecurity that preoccupies the minds of innocent citizens is increasingly threatening recently. Worst of all insecurities are confined in the economic domain. Recently, this country's economy has been frustrated with intermittent incalculable escalation of costs of goods and services and each time one speaks about this realities, the only befitting answer but yet thoughtless, that the cabals and their gang could give is the Russia-Ukraine war as the main cause.
