_Entitled: The Voice of the Vulnerable-Women and Girls _

From the beginning of human existence to date, women have steadily been key stakeholders in the development crusades of the global world across communities. Despite the divergent views and opinions towards women, their roles in both the households and the workforce of any country is huge and impregnable.
To trace as history narrates, during the period of "Jahiliya"(Ignorance) men buried the would-be women(the girls) alive and were not given certain privileges. However with the advent of Islam, through sacrifices and dedication. Women were given space and the impact of which is up to date felt.
Sadly, in today's generation of human existence, women and girls continue to suffer from abuses of great pain of different kinds and in diverse conditions. Prominent in the list of this sad memories of which women are facing daily are: Physical, sexual and psychological abuses. The list exhausts the mentioned ones.
Women are abused both at the level of our households, communities, and institutions both private and public ones. This abuses inflict severe pain and stories which curtain their minds into unrest or better still, psychologically traumatized.
On another development, girls face challenges of early marriages both willingly and forcefully. Teenage pregnancy and other menaces are highly scaled.
Women and girls deserve better and thus the constraints associated with their wellbeing must be address to undress the dark narrative.The best and the most productive method of realizing this is through Legislation and full enforcement. Additionally, attitudinal change is unarguably necessary to improve the welfare of women and girls.
